Today has been an eventful 1st day of Homecoming week. We started off with an assembly where the choir sang the National Anthem for us, we played some fun games, the cheerleaders performed, and royalty was announced. There will be He-Man Volley and Powderpuff Football practice tonight. Don't forget to dress up tomorrow for the 1960'-1970's.

A staff member at WHS is seeking old magazines and newspapers. If you have any you would like to donate, please bring them to the high school. Please make certain they are school-appropriate.

It is time for Mini-Cheer! October 2nd-5th. The cost is $25 per participant. The mini-cheer leaders will be performing at the football game on October 5, 2023. Paperwork will be going home tonight from the elementary school. For any questions please contact Mrs. Shamblin or Mrs. DelRio.

The Wells FFA Chapter Rangeland team placed 2nd in the state competition. Jake G. placed 2nd High Individual. The team also qualified to compete at Western Nationals in November in Ritzville, Washington.
The Soils team placed 2nd in the state with Adam E. as the 2nd High Individual. The team also placed 2nd and qualified to compete at National Land Judging in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Congratulations to both teams!

FFA competed in the State Soils/Homesite &Rangeland Evaluation competition yesterday in Lund.
Our team won 2nd place and qualified to attend Nationals in Oklahoma City in March.
